St. Louis Cardinals Football (Big Red)

The St. Louis Cardinals played football in St. Louis from 1960 through 1987.   They moved to Arizona in 1988 where they still currently play.

St. Louis Stars

The St. Louis Stars played in the Negro League from 1906-1931.  Their stadium was located near the southeast corner of Laclede and Compton Avenues in downtown St. Louis.  The ballpark site is now occupied by the Harris-Stowe State University baseball field but contains a monument referencing Stars Park.

St. Louis Steamers/Ambush

The St. Louis Steamers played from 1979-1988 and then again from 1999-2006.   The St. Louis Ambush play from 1992-2000, and then started up again in 2013 where they still play today at the St. Charles Family Arena.
