2003 fOCO

The 2003 fOCO bobbleheads included a new design with the baseball field being the base for the bobblehead.  The Cardinals had five players in this pattern: Albert Pujols, Jim Edmonds, Matt Morris, Scott Rolen, & JD Drew.   The bottom of the base lists 5,000 being made for each, but the actual production numbers are likely smaller.   This set also included a very rare mini Fredbird bobblehead.

The 2003 All-Star game was played at Comiskey park which is the home of the Chicago White Sox.    All-Star bobbleheads were released for players which included the Chicago skyline in the base, and Scott Rolen was the lone Cardinals player in the set.    They also released the Bobblehead on Parade bobbles for each team; and one for each League and an overall All-Star game bobble.   The National League one included the Cardinals logo on the ball cap which is sweet.    These bobble on parade bobbles are very desired and hard to find.  The Cardinals, National League, and overall All-Star game bobbleheads are shown below.

2003 also added the Ozzie Smith Gold Glove bobblehead!   This is one of the neatest bobbleheads every created and also very hard to find.   fOCO added some additional bobbleheads to their Cooperstown Collection which included Bob Gibson, and finally fOCO introduced dual bobbleheads called BobbleMates which for the Cardinals included a bobblehead of Albert Pujols and Scott Rolen.
